Beschreibung | Inkubationszeit 2 – 4 Wochen. Inf. Modus: sexueller Kontakt, Bluttransfusion, diaplazentar. Primärstadium: Ulcus durum an der Inokulationsstelle und Befall der regionären Lymphknoten. Sekundärstadium: Vielfältige klinische Manifestationen: Exantheme, Condylomata lata, Plaques muqueuses, Alopecia areata u. a. (unter anderem) Tertiärstadium: Nach Monaten oder Jahren Organmanifestationen (Gummen, Mesaortitis, Neurosyphilis, Chorioretinitis u. a.). Syphilis connata: Diaplazentar übertragene Infektion mit Absterben des Feten oder Geburt eines schwerkranken Säuglings (Hydrops, Hepatosplenomegalie u. a.). |
Hinweis | Falsch positive (biologisch unspezifische) Testergebnisse bei den Syphilis-Reaktionen sind bekannt. Eine Abgrenzung der Syphilis von den serologisch nichtvenerischen Treponematosen (Frambösie, Pinta, Yaws) ist nicht möglich. |
