Description | Indication: Pharyngitis, suspicion of scarlet fever On request of “pathogenic germs”, the following evaluations are carried out: Aerobic and yeastlike budding fungi cultures, identity of pathogens. On evidence of clinically potentially relevant pathogens an antibiogram is prepared (resistance determination may be limited to 2 germs). An antibiogram for beta-hemolysing streptococcus will only be prepared on specific request. Description: Examinations for corynebacterium diphtheria, Neisseria meningitides and Neisseria gonorrhea have to be specifically requested. Material harvesting:
