Description

Indication: Suspicion of catheter infection

Disinfection of the insertion site with alcohol. After alcohol-evaporation, the catheter is removed.

A 10-15 cm long end-piece is cut off from below the insertion site with sterile scissors and send to the laboratory in a sterile tube with screw top.
