| Please note | MOG antibodies are associated with a broad spectrum of demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system. Especially high titer MOG antibodies are seen in children with ADEM, furthermore, MOG antibodies may be seen in aquaporin-4 negative NMOSD, opticus neuritis, myelitis and non-ADEM-encephalitis. Prognostic value: Continuously high MOG antibody titers are indicative of a high risk for recurrences. |
