| Indication | Slow progressive, sensory or sensory-motoric neuropathy. The MAG antibodies are helpful in the differentiation between axonal and demyelinating neuropathies. |
| Please note | In case of neuropathies with IgM-gammopathy, MAG antibodies are detected in approximately 50% of cases. If a monoclonal gammopathy is not yet known, it is recommended to perform an immunofixation at the same time. |
