Indication | Suspicion of congenital fructose intolerance, fructosuria. The congenital fructose intolerance is a rare disorder, marked by severe hypoglycemia, vomiting after fructose consumption, liver diseases with hepatomegaly, damage of the kidney tubules. Clinical improvement within a few days after fructose-discontinuation (including sucrose and sorbit) is of diagnostic relevance. Please also refer to section “Fructose intolerance”. |
