Please note | A factor-XII-deficiency is usually clinically symptomless and is often discovered by coincidence during routine checks. A mild factor-XII-deficiency is not associated with bleeding tendency nor with thrombosis tendency. A distinct decrease in factor-XII-activity, even below 5 % of the norm (homozygous type), does not lead to an increased bleeding tendency. |
