Indirect Coombs test: 4 ml EDTA-blood or 2 ml whole blood. Please do not send serum only, as erythrocytes are required for further evaluation in case of detected irregular antibodies. |

| Indication | Direct Coombs test: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia of cold and warm type, unclear hemolysis, transfusion incidents, M. hemolyticus neonatorum. Indirect Coombs test: As per direct Coombs test. Prenatal care (in early pregnancy and in the 6th months of pregnancy), preoperative, during blood typing. |
