(Cd)
Material: | 2 ml EDTA-blood, 2 ml serum, 10 ml of 24-hour urine |
Methods: |
Spektrometrie → Atomabsorptionsspektroskopie (AAS) Spektrometrie → induktiv-gekoppelte Plasma-Massenspektrometrie (ICP-MS)) | Reference range | Serum: < 0,5 µg/l |
Indication | Exposure at the workplace (metalworking, pigments), tobacco smoke. The kidneys are the most important target organs of Cd-exposure; in case of proteinuria, protein differentiation in the urine is recommended. |
