Please note | Colon diseases, similar to amebiasis. Chronic intermittent diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, fever. However, often, infections are asymptomatic. The majority of patients recover after approximately 3 – 4 days without chemotherapy. Communicated by ingestion of cysts from pigs’ feces, contaminated food and drinking water. Incubation period from a few days to weeks. Worldwide distribution in pigs; endemic in Japan, South Africa, Central- and South America, Europe. |
