Indikation | Verdacht auf Superinfektion bei chronischer Hepatitis B. Häufig bei foudroyant verlaufender Hepatitis B oder »aufflammender« chronischer Hepatitis B. | Meldepflicht | ja Der direkte oder indirekte Nachweis wird vom Labor – bei fehlenden Angaben, dass eine chronische Infektion vorliegt – namentlich an das Gesundheitsamt gemeldet. Der Verdacht auf eine akute Hepatitis D, sowie Erkrankung und Tod sind vom behandelnden Arzt zu melden. Der Nachweis einer chronischen HBV-Infektion (HBsAg oder HBV-DNA positiv) muss vorliegen. |
Hinweis | HDV benötigt zu seiner Vermehrung die Helferfunktion des Hepatitis-B-Virus. Hohe Durchseuchung in Süd- und Osteuropa, Nordafrika, Mittelasien sowie bei Drogenabhängigen in der BRD. Bei einer Superinfektion einer chronischen HBV-Infektion erfolgt ein akuter Krankheitsschub; bei einer Doppelinfektion kann es zu einer schwer verlaufenden chronischen Hepatitis mit Übergang in eine Zirrhose kommen. Entsprechend sollte bei einem schweren Hepatitis-B-Verlauf an eine zusätzliche HDV-Infektion gedacht werden. |
