Description | Basic evaluations: Full blood count, ESR or CRP, GPT, GOT, AP, gamma-GT, creatinine Bacteriology: Sputum-culture, tracheal secretion, bronchial secretion with evidence of bacteria and, if necessary, fungus, mycobacteria, legionella. On suspicion of bordetella pertussis, special swab extraction material needs to be requested (please see analysis index) Infection serology: Stage 1: Chlamydia pneumonia, influenza virus, parainfluenza virus Stage 2: Coxsackie-/ECHO-virus, adenovirus and others Please also refer to section “pneumonia” |
