Material: | 2 ml EDTA or heparin blood (special monovette for metal analysis), 10 ml sponatneous urine or 10 ml of 24 h urine collection (without additive). Please state 24 h urine volume. 2 ml saliva (with salivette). Serum is not recommended, as mercury is largely intracellular. | Reference range | Blood: < 2,0 µg/l BAT: 25 µg/l Saliva: < 5,0 µg/l Urine: < 1,0 µg/l BAT: 100 µg/l |
