Please note | Mycoplasma genitalium has significance in the clarification of chlamydia trachomatis-negative nongonococcal urethritis. Often there is an association to sexual activity. On suspicion of further sexually transmitted pathogens, please also refer to “STI-Multiplex PCR” (14 pathogens) or “Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma PCR” for (4 pathogens) |
