Factor-X-activity
Material: | 1 ml citrate plasma, frozen | Reference range | 70% – 120% Please see below for further interpretation information. |
Indication |
|
Please note | Interpretation of activities: > 70 %: normal activity 50 % – 70 %: overall sufficient for normal hemostasis 25 % – 50 %: no increased risk of bleeding, however, in case of larger surgical intervention, a substitution may be required (pay attention to relevant anamnesis) 15 % – 25 %: slight tendency to bleeding, in case of bleeding and surgical procedures a substitution may be required < 10 %: markedly increased risk of bleeding, in case of bleeding and surgical procedures, a substitution is required. When taking DOAKs (Dabigatran, Rivaroxaban, Apixaban or Edoxaban), an evaluation of the factor activity should be sought before the next dose. Factor X is vitamin-K dependent. |
