Please note | Interpretation of activity: 70 % – 50 % no increased risk of bleeding 50 % – 25 % subhemophilia B, in most cases sufficient hemostasis 5 % – 25 % mild hemophilia B, depending on the type of defect, there may be an increased risk of bleeding < 5 % moderate to severe hemophilia B, marked risk of bleeding
In very rare cases, patients may acquire hemophilia B (pregnant women or patients > 60 years of age).
When taking DOAKs (Dabigatran, Rivaroxaban, Apixaban or Edoxaban), an evaluation of the factor activity should be sought before the next dose. Factor IX is vitamin-K dependent. |
